I think she may have scratched her eye lid as it is puffy and the corner of her eyelid is very crusty with a small amount of blood under/around it. I wonder it is necessary to go to the vet? Ok I ask this because of posts I read on here. Do people pay attention to the ingredients in cat food before buying or do they just buy it because they see it on tv and pay no attention to ingredients.

Here are the first 7 ingredients in Purina Cat Chow dry:
Poultry by-product meal, corn meal, ground whole wheat, corn gluten meal, soy flour

What is poultry by products anyways, and look at all those grains why do carnivores need all those grains.

Here is the first 7 ingredients in one brand of Fancy Feast canned: This is the turkey and giblets kind
Meat by-products, meat broth, poultry, poultry by-products, natural and artificial flavors, guar gum

Yuck Yuck yuck by products and no named meats.

Here are 2 much better foods:

Why feed you cat nasty food with by products and no nmaed meats when there are better options?
Just a side note here I believe some of ya’ll have heard me say this I feed TO and Eagle Pack now. I use to feed store bought stuff but never again.
Science Diet is not much better. Here is their dry Adult Orignal:

A natural diet for dogs, as we all know or atleast the smart one knows what goes into dog food. Any meat that unfit for humans goes into pet food.
