Some people insist feeding a cat raw meat is natural and healthier than processed cat food. I agree – to an extent. Like, what is natural about giving a cat raw beef when you picture THIS.
So our cat is quite vocal especially when he is hungry which is alot of the time! He is fed the recommended amount of premium cat food twice a day, drinks a lot of water and is a pretty average size, he used to just meow and walk over us and sit near our faces on the bed in the morning when he was hungry (from about 6am) now he has started swiping and scratching at our faces and necks! Is normally well natured and doesnt scratch. Is four years old. Is there any way to stop him doing this!?

I ususally feed my 4 year old cat premium food, but last week I ran out. I can only buy her food at two places and they were both closed, so I ran out to the supermarket and bought her a few cans of cheap stuff, so she wouldn’t be hungery untill I could buy food the next day. Lo and behold, she vomited three times. Okay, my fault. So that was about a week ago, she has been back on her normal food for 5 days now and today she vomited. It was mostly un-digested. She’s acting normal otherwise. So just to be safe I called my vet. She suggested that it may just be her stomach getting used to her food again and to wait a few days. I asked if I should withold food for 24 or so hours. Her reply was, "It’s up to you." At first, I thought I would, but she’s asking for food, so maybe she feels better. So what do you think? I know if she was a dog, I’d feed her boiled chicken and rice to calm her stomach, but I don’t know if that works with cats. She’s my first cat. Thanks.
