I have 2 cats (both 1 year old females) I am not sure which is throwing up but it seems to have been getting to be more often the past 2 days . At first it was only full chunks of food. They are on a 50 – 50 diet (holistic dry cat food , and wet food (chicken soup for the kitten soul – i think its called ) . I found that the kibble (dry food was being thrown up) So I bought them the large royal Canin big kibble because i was told the cats are inhaling the food. And I purchased gel for fur balls . Today after feeding them I found a lot more throw up and liquid (that is yellow bile I assume) I want to take the sick cat to the vet but Can not figure out which one is sick . Any Logical suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The vomiting has not caused her to lose any weight.
She vomits a couple times a week dry and wet food and sometimes acts like she wants to vomit, but nothing is expelled. She’s 2.5 and I’ve been feeding her the same food for the same amount of time. I’ve been feeding Wellness dry and canned formulas, I’m looking for a food for my cat with a sensitive stomach. It doesn’t have to be grain-free but I prefer it.
hi everyone just wondering Does anyone know where you can buy james well beloved lamb and rice flavor hypoallergenic adult cat biscuits in or near Hornchurch Essex area its just i am having great difficulty finding a shop or pet shop that sell this specific flavor in the james well beloved hypoallergenic adult cat food range around, near or in Hornchurch Essex area does anyone know where i can buy these cat biscuits from in this flavor in or around this area, also does anyone know of a good hypoallergenic adult cat food i could feed my cat with as she suffers from irritable bowel syndrome so she has to have a good hypoallergenic cat food, at the moment she is on royal canin wet food duck with rice and duck with rice james well beloved dry biscuits but she is getting very very sick of both of them, she cant have fish or chicken as she has a allergy to these proteins also she has had dd wet and dry cat food by hills which also did not agree with her but she has not had rabbit or lamb before which might be ok for her to have so just wondering if anyone knows of a good hypoallergenic adult cat food which contain these proteins i could try my cat on bless her!!!
It seems that my cat has been getting soft stools off and on for awhile now, but also gets normal ones too. So I guess i’m going to stick to one brand of premium wet food and stay away from store bought and human food treats. So since there are a ton of brands out there, what ones could you guys recommend that would be best for my kittie’s sensitive digestive system? By premium, I mean Innova, California Natural, etc.
I did take my cat to her vet, and she gave her medicine. But she told me to feed her soft food only.
I know that this question has been asked before, and the usual answer is to mix old food with their new food, but that is NOT an option for me. My cat developed a food allergy and can no longer consume what he ate before.
I bought California Natural, both wet and dry; but he refuses to eat it so I have to force feed him by watering the wet food down and forcing him to eat it through an eyedropper.
My other cat will eat it; but the amount she consumes has drastically dropped.
First Question is, how can I get my cat with the allergies to eat his new food, without giving him the old food that made him gravely ill in the first place?
Second question, how can I encourage my other cat to eat more of the new food?
Thank you.
My husband and I just adopted a kitten from a shelter…. they had her on friskies dry food, which I know is not a good food for her. I was told by a woman at our local Petco to put her on Nutro Max kitten formula, but I was also looking into Dick Van Patten’s Natural balance cat food (which can be given to a kitten watered down). Can anyone recommend what would be better? Our dog is currently on Natural Balance allergy free dog formula (he has skin allergies), and does wonderful. Thanks for any info! Oh, if you could also recommend a good wet food to mix in that would be great help!
I have been feeding my cats and kitten Nutro Natural Choice pouch food. Its the only thing I have found that they like. I just found out when I went to get more that it has been discontinued, so I bought everything the store had so I have food for them until I can find a suitable alternative. They don’t like food that is all ground up mush. They won’t eat it. They only like pieces in gravy. I like Natural Choice because they don’t shed very much on it and it cuts down on litterbox odors. Seriously the stuff was a godsend, Even with three cats and a litter box in a high-traffic area I didn’t have to clean it constantly.
Does anybody know of any suitable alternatives? I would like something that has a kitten food version as well. I noticed not all wet food comes in a kitten version. My kitten is just as picky. His food has to be just like the two adult’s food or he just wants to go after theirs.
I’m really disappointed Natural Choice is being discontinued. I hope they release a suitable alternative. I really do love that food and so do my spoiled little kitties.
